What Should A upgraded X-Spec Look Like?
When I frist got my x-spec I was happy with the way
it looked except for the blade-grips, I am not a fan
of plastic on a rotorhead. I bought this stock bird
used from Wemo, anyway when I crashed it last week
desided to upgrade the plastic grips to metal, than
I found I did not like the plastic control arm so I
replaced them with the cnc ones. The more I looked the
more I changed. So now I think I like what I see. I would
like to see what your x-spec looks like to see if there is
something else I would like on mine.
Enjoy the hobby.

You need a nice head button. I have one on my Freya an its the icing on the cake.

I think Dreamworks heli makes them. Mine came used on my Evo50. Its webbed...I will click a pic later. I think he is on RR.

I can tell you, I have yet to see a heli with so much bling on it till now! BTW, what's the purpose of those rubbers at the landing gear? And most importantly, where did you get them?

Cyberheli has the Funtech pipes and they are good folks to deal with.
The yellow thingies on the skids are skid stops, I use them to keep the Heli from sliding on my smooth table. They are made by KSJ and Horizon Hobby carries them.
Yes the headbuttons are made by Mike a Dream RC , but it looks like his website is no longer active.
He might not be in business anymore.

No..not the skid stops. I mean the black cylinder shape rubber. Are those for vibration isolation or something? Looks really practical and useful.. nice touch!

They are landing gear dampers, by JR part number JR960117.
I do alot of ground turn-ups when I do maintence and it
helps against vibration.

Actually that is not an EX. It is an XSpec with SSRVII Head, Evo Stickers, Eagle3 Carbon Tail Boom and Shaft, Eagle3 Paddle and also with Avant Carbon Fins. Later I will post it without cabin.
