Radio or Li-pos
This is weird..

I have the DX6 set up with stock pro main motor and tail motor using 3-in-1 leads.

NO problems flying it, flies awesome..

But after about a minute to 2 minutes, the Blade cp loses lift (maybe rotor speed is slowing down?) and I have to land

I start it up again and can fly again for 1-2 mins.

REGARDLESS of Li-po pack I use.

Any ideas of what may be going on ?

How hot is the motor getting? DO you have a heat sink on it?
2nd how are you charging your lipos? If you dont have a good charger that can tell you how much charge the battery has taken you may not be getting the full charge.
If the motor is very old it may be getting weak.
MY best guess.

Sounds like maybe something is getting hot in your 3in1 and after it cools for a bit your ready to go again . Have you tried switching out that 3in 1 thing yet ?Scott Sr. ><> ****Support Our Troops**** ><>

Whirly has the same track I am going I also think it's heat related and with that type bird you only have 2 possibilites the motor and the controller (that 3n1 ) .Scott Sr. ><> ****Support Our Troops**** ><>

I had the same issue with, turned out to be battery, so I dunno..Make sure you aren't over charging them at their rated content.

hmmm I am just using the eflite balanced charger that came with the pro.

The pro comes with heat sinks on the motors so I dont think its that.

Maybe I should drill some holes in the cannopy to get some air flow.

it is much more tighter inside as I have the sketrum receiver on top of the 3-in-1

I will see if its possible ot mount receiver on the back behind the g90

hot motor
I came in from hovering, just now can hover almost the whole battery pack and the motor/heat sink was much to hot ot touch even with the larger heat sink(heli-direct).
Ended up drilling a hole in the canopy for air to flow (3 places) and still dont know if that will help. Had to stop getting to dark to fly.
I think the motor eff. is affected by heat maybe that has someting to do with it I dono
Good luck,
Mike

Yea, I have a charger can't remember name off top of my head, but does all battery types, all different levels....So I set it at 1.3 amps to charge my 1320mah batterys and well its worked for at least 50 packs now.

Charger is like 100 bucks, most here have it on the boards I just can't remember name.
