fake macbookpro auctions?
i've been trying to get a good price on a macbook pro over ebay. of course, i only want to buy new.

two auctions that i bidded on were terminated early by ebay. the prices at the point of termination were rather low. then soon after i received emails from the respective sellers offering sweet deals on the macbooks.

obviously i wouldnt complete a transaction unless through ebay...

but...

what might be happening that causes ebay (not the seller) to terminate the auction?

i figured the people might be doing something intentional to cause ebay to shut it down, then contact me and blame ebay for the difficulties and try and settle out of ebay and just scam me. they dont actually have the macbook, it was a fake auction they intended on terminating before it was over anyways...

what do you think of my supposition? anyone else have an experience like this on ebay?

feel free to post good places to get macbook pro's for a decent price if you know any! lol.

ebay terminated it because it most likely was a fake sale ... this has happened to me before ... someone hacked my account and put cars up for sale (which obviously were not really for sale) and ebay shut down the auctions before i even knew about it because it was supicious .... i wouldnt mess with any of those deals
