crash pics as promised
sorry i had to take some of it apart to see what the damage was gonna be. i couldnt waite for the camera. heres the pics before and after. i tried to take close ups of some of the stuff that welded together but my camera isnt that great apearently but you can see alot of the burnt, bent and broken stuff. by the way this is the crash i posted here http://www.runryder.com/t282733p1/

i was going to say theres i cant see any damage
but then i got to the third picture.
would of been cheaper to by a new raptor wouldnt it?
well at least the damage was the model and not you.

i put a link to my origional post up top but long story short i did a loop into live power wires and it exploded... and then fell to the ground

i dont think they every came out. the power returned after a couple minutes leading me to believe i tripped a big breaker or something. there are big shinny spots on the lines them selves surrounded by more of the black sooty stuff. seems ok though i realy dont wanna call em and have them come out and charge me to run new lines.....

well i got the main frame back together and mounted the engine and it purrrrrrs like a kitten... sweeeeeet. i now have everything on order except for a couple of electronic components (reciever, gyro, couple of servos etc. should be just a matter of time after all it was just cosmetic.... well mostly..er ok it shoulda been wrote off but now i take it as a challenge to get this hunk of crap back in the air. hopefully by the end of the month?
