Thanks a million JaxRotor!!
In a community full of strangers with only one thing in common it sure isn't hard to find a helping hand. I was at JAXRC field yesterday and I was being helped by Rob "JaxRotor" with some fine-tuning adjustments needed on my heli. After about an hour's worth of heli clinic, I was pretty much set and he showed me step-by-step what I needed to do for my Govenor to start working..(We disabled it for the time being) I wanted to fly and didn't have the time to mess with it at the field.
Long story short...... I went up and flew for a bit. Landed it to check the fuel. When I took back off I noticed I lost heading hold and started pirouetting (SP) I tried to land it as best I could. No joy, it flipped on me. I broke a see-saw arm and my brand new CF blades. "Not Cheap"...... As I walk back to the table to pack it up. Here comes Rob with a brand new set of Revo Carbon blades and says here man "with a great big smile". I asked him how much for the baldes? He humbly replied, you'll owe me something later and just shrugged it off.
It is because of gentlemen like Rob that make this Hobby worthwhile.
Rob, I thank you sincerely, your willingness to help out a newby like myself just goes to show how great of a community this really is.
Thank you,
Joksan

Yep, Rob has helped make it fun for me as well. The first full day I was out, he pretty much worked all day with me getting my heli tuned, etc. Sunday was a bad day for several people at the field. I am still waiting for my turn to come up.

Nothing against any of the guys out at JaxRC, but Rob is probably one of the most helpful guys there. It's the same scene every Sunday when I get to the field. There is Rob helping out a new guy with a new heli. That, or even helping out a vet with his. I've even seen him helping out a planker once or twice and I've never even seen Rob fly a plank. I've been going to JRC now for almost 4 months, every Sunday, and he is always helping somebody. We have a ton of knowledge out there between him, MR10X, BarracudaHockey, Waynes World, raif, oh yeah...and myself. JK. I learn something new every weekend from either him or one of the others and I try and use what I've learned and pass it on to other new guys. Hell, I helped out Mo-Rican today and he ended up doing his first flip with his Venture. Rob and raif were there also cheering him on. Those carbons he gave Mo really did that bird some justice. It's great to be part of such an awesome community here on RR and at JaxRC. If you are ever in the area, make it part of your trip plan to come join us for a day of heli fun at JaxRC. Damn, I should be a salesman

Dude, that is soooo cool. VERY giving. Carbons? Giving them to a guy in need just for the taking? Unheard of. I salute this kind of support to a fellow flyer. It saddens me to admit I probably wouldn't have done the same. Ok, off to order a spare set of NHP's for the next guy that eats dirt at the field.

Rob has helped me out immensly as well! When I was in need of some balls (linkage), he was the first to "hand" them to me. God that sounds nasty He's a great dude who has taught me a ton! If I would have known you had a set of carbon's, I would have wrecked my woodies weeks ago buddy!!! JK

Fromme2u is right. It's an amazing bunch of guys out there. I look forward to doing my first loops and rolls with all them guys watching! If it weren't for that dang "woof" two weekends ago, I would have tried a loop, but I just don't want to wreck it before I let my family see me fly for the first time next weekend in Arkansas.

Great job Mo!!! I am blown away with your progress!!! The G3 has helped you out more than you knew it would! I need to start practicing more I see.

Keep it up!!

Rick
