Clunk Lines
Anyone know of a good UK supplier of clunk line tube, I have tried several different types from LHS & it either turns into jelly or goes so hard and brittle it snaps in two.
Some guy suggested I use the model car stuff, this was even worse as after 3 weeks it turned to stone.

I got some clunk line from Helibits which seems to work OK. It has a slightly larger bore than standard. However, I always check my lines every 2 or 3 months and replace if there is any sign of deterioration. This is usually not related to decomposition of the line, but small cracks that can appear where the line expands over the ridge on the nipple.Vegetable rights and Peace

hehe... he said nipple

Anyways, I agree, you should check your clunk line every 2-3 months no matter what your using. I've been using some medium blue line in my Caliber 30 main tank using 30% with no issues. I want to say it is the Du-Bro pre-cut stuff you can buy already packaged up. It's been a while so I can't remember exactly. The header tank clunk is the the stock black stuff that came with it. It's a Mavrikk header. Now, my EVO 50 I just got done building is using the Prather pink nitro boat line. It is suppose to with stand up to 60% nitro. But either way, I will still check after 2-3 months. Same header tank and clunk as the Caliber.
