Craig, the whole point is you insiders get all the goodies while we have to wait much longer than promised by Century. Do you have a target delivery date for the 620? Mr. big 620 demo guy

Send a pair my way !

Throw in a stretch boom and belt too.
Ahh, heck I'll take one of those prototype 620 canopys while I'm at it

Honestly though, I'm not saying the swift is a bad heli, mine has served me well, just that the trex 600 has more to offer for the price.
That may change when the swift 620 is released to the public, but I suspect that won't be for a while yet.

I am curious to see how the swift will handle 600mm blades though.
I'm running a neu 1910 1.5y on 10s1p 2500mah flightpower "nf" packs right now, with ms composit 550mm blades. I happen to have a set of 600mm radix blades sitting here, if only I had a boom and belt
Run times would be short, but the power to disk loading ratio would be impressive.

Just pray that the crashes in your 600 don’t break the frames at $150 a pop. I know my Swift is not the Prom Queen or most popular but it is serving me quite well.

Sorry, I know it seems long!

NTM, sounds like you got some toy's over your way! What's the head speed on that 10s swift? I tested a 8s and burned up the motor, lol

The ten cell setup is working out great (10s1p 2500mah), 2250 head speed with 550mm blades and 13 degrees of pitch.
It's rediculously overpowered, but still light !
I've tried lots and lots of different setups, but this ones a keeper
Only way I can see to improve it further would be to go to 12 cells, but gearing limitations prevent that.

You tried 8 cells on the prototype century 600 motor ?
If your talking about the outrunner 600 plus, that would make for some interesting head speed

I appreciate the rough timeline anyways, nice to have some kind of idea. And the new canopy looks really sharp, I'm tempted to keep the swift around now, it was very close to being replaced by a logo 14 or a rex 600.

Call up Century and order a Pred tail hub and pred or raven tail grips with the thrust bearings and ball links.

I have been testing these out. Works good.
