reading the directions

you need to twist the tail.
Tried that and according to the instructions that is for for forward/backward trimming

I cut down one of the spare tail props but that had the opposite effect. I also tried twisting the tail blades but no good.

I read through the rcgroups thread and found the answer. A drop of oil on the tail! Actually I used rubbing alcohol since I'm out of thin oil. Works well. Now I can do figure 8's in my living room.
Best part is my wife wants one too after trying it.

I just bought one tody.
I haven't flown it yet.
One of the guys at the bigger RC heli field today was going to Wal Mart to get them, He brought back 4 so he had extras.
For $30 what can you lose?(I still owe you $10 Leon) They look pretty cool and according to most (if not all) of the posts on this thread they are a lot of fun!
Charging the flight battery right now and reading the instructions.
Soon I will take to the air.

FYI, I got up this morning to fly a sortie or too, but could only get about quarter throttle before it would shutdown.

I took out the old trusty xacto knife, spilt the epp fuse, viola nothing visible wrong.

I figured I would atleast try oiling the motor, much too my surprise it worked!!

You dont twist the tail blades.
You twist the whole tail boom. It does work for mine tilting the tail to point up just a bit..

I also give the main blade a little twist back into shape from time to time to add max fixed pitch. Makes for longer flights because you use less power if max pitch is on them I think..
Still having lots of fun with mine..

Mine is here.. but it is broke :-(

It made it 2 flights. Just got the FF going like i like it (HUGE thumb tack). Stopped for a hover near the fish tank... and that was it. Tail motor died...

Very odd... not sure if the motor is dead... or something else is going on. Tried oiling it... no go...

ideas?

I played with the wires on the outside a little... but to no avail...

The battery's sort of up front. You didn't spike it with the thumbtack, did ya?

split it apart... and found the wire dangling loose. Hit it with the soldering iron.. and taped her closed.

Flies like a champ.

Also... the stickers on the tail... are definatly needed. Took mine off and holy smokes... It is so responsive now, it spins out of control.

So... if yours is sluggish... trim 2mm off each tail blade... and take the stickers off of the tail. Do yourself a favor... and leave the sickers on the boom. Apparently (through my own experience) it is used to "weather vane" ITSELF! It really keeps it straight. I added a small piece of tape folded over the tail boom, in the same fashion as the original stickers were (just as wide as a piece of tape is and about 1cm long)... and now it flies better. The tail is still to responsive now... haha...

Now i get to figure out how to make it crappier... hrm...

3 more on the way from radioshack. One for my step dad, and 2 more for me!

That will make my fleet complete with 4 piccos.

I really have to tell you... i would have payed 50/piece for these little guys. Awesome product...

So to update my previous post.. I took off all tape from the tail again... and added 2 pieces. It is applied diagonal from the tail boom support, to the tail boom. One on each side, so that they stick together, instead of sticking to random stuff on the floor. I put the tape on so that the rotor wash will still pass through, from the tail rotor... about 3-4mm gap in the corner. This made a huge... huge.. difference. I also removed all the other stickers on the heli, and the "protective" plastic casings around the main gear. Those were heavy! I get average of 10 mins of flight now, making JUST right hand turns. W/ left hand turns (just flying normal circuits) i get around 8 1/2 - 9 mins. I will probably add another minute to that time when i get some 3in1 oil.

I have two Picoo Z and I liked them so much...the dream of flying RC safely inside the bedroom is not a dream anymore.

I was planning to buy 2-more Picoo Z but I saw this in another website...Oh my...where can I get this? It looks bigger and radio control.

Try thowing in into the air with the power off and hit the juice see what happens !!!

It is VERY COOL it will start like the funkeychicken then fall toward the ground and fly out of it QUICK! out of 8 times doing it it only stayed inverted STRAIGHT too the floor 1 time then I did it 4 more times flew right out of it, Then flew it around more... ROTFLMAO

This thing can take the hell you throw at it..

BEST $30 I have ever spent on MICRO'S.........

AWESOME! GET ONE GUY'S

For the guy's that seen mine today @ the LHS it was the batteries that didn't allow it too fully charge the piccoZ so it just would only piro... I Have new batteries and BOY what a Change!

OK so I got two of them.

Both flew fine for a couple of minutes then the first one just piros and never takes off.

The second one will take off but you can't keep it from piroing.

I didn't even get to crash them yet!

Any ideas?

The tail motors are spinning when they are throttled up.
