I just got one. I'd say it's a toy, but it's a lot of fun. Two channel IR Tx, single rotor with some sort of stabilizer, and a tail motor. You have to put some weight in the front to get any sort of forward speed, otherwise it's pretty hard to get it to go where you want it to. Radio Shack has them for $29.99. Search the web and you can find some video.

Fun lil heli to fly inside the house. i satyed up till 3 last night flying my Picoo Z. haha i just got it yesturday too.

It has the rotors like a heli and flies like a plane when you add nose weight to help it get goin in forward flight. It doesn't have any cyclics control. It goes up or down and turns left or right. Pretty simple. You will be amazed how stable this thing is. Just plan fun when your too lazy to go outside to fly the big birds. I crashed my PicooZ in the walls, hand rails, ceiling, vase, you name it. haha No damage to either things. Just hand launch it and "it's good to go"

If you guys are still a Toys R Us kid! they have it in stores for 30 bucks

i had to go to 2 different radio shacks to get mine yesterday. guy said i got one of the last 2 in town. had them hold one for me when the guy at the first store found one for me across town.

what a great little toy. this thing reminds me a lot of the little hotwheel sized remote control cars that were popular a couple of years ago. in fact, just like those, the transmitter charges the heli....only it takes about 15-30 minutes to charge for 5 minutes of flight.

i find the freshly charged battery overpowers the little heli. but, after about a minute, the thing discharges to a level that is controllable. i do have to put in full right trim every time i turn on the heli (its a toggle-button trim...not a slider---so, i guess it resets every time you power on).

but, once its trimmed and youve bled off the excess power in the first minute of the pack it is very controllable for the remainder of the charge until it wont hover any longer.

the instructions say that the heli is perfectly balanced for hover (and it is) but, to get forward flight you must use combinations of left and right rudder to induce forward flight.

well, that was no good. i just taped 1/2 of jumbo paperclip to the nose and that gave just enough forward flight to go about 1-2feet per second. perfect for flying circuits around the living room. i was flying lefthand and righthand circuits and figure 8s all night last night and for a charge this morning.

for $30 this is great indoor fun....way more fun than i ever had with a $300 coaxial. and it appears indestructible. i\\\'ve slammed into walls, plants, the t.v. and the ceiling fan (OFF) and it just tumbles softly to the ground ready for more abuse.

if you can find one, i highly recommend this thing. 5 stars!
if it ain't broke, break it.

I bought one today at Radio Shack, and it's awesome. I read a few threads over on RCG about it, and the other new micro heli, the AirHogs Helix, and went out and bought both to try today. The PiccoZ is everything it is hyped to be, and more. An incredibly fun litte diversion, you just have to have the expectation that you'll be flying it like a slow plane. The Helix has promise, it's 3 channel coaxial, a lot like the Blade CX except with thrusters for fore aft and yaw. I think with some tuning, it'll be a great little toy as well.Nick Crego

I was reading that it takes 40 mins to charge and get 5 mins on a charge. Any way to make this better. Can you take out that battery. What kind of battery does it use.

One of the guys brought one out to the field last weekend, It flew ok, but the slight breeze pushed it around quite a bit but handled the crashing very well. I bought one on my way home and just bought another one today for my son. You can fly up to three of them together as long as they are all on different channels. These things are a blast and can handle allot of crashes with out any damage.

My cat thinks it's a flying mouse.

My son and I are going to try a little heli combat with them in the living room. If we can ever get them to fly at each other.

I'd say it takes more like 15-20 minutes to charge and gives more than 5 minutes of flight time. It's hard for me to say since I fly it amongst many obstacles and spend quite a bit of time retrieving it when it hits something and falls to the ground. It can really take a beating! It uses a 50mAh LiPo that's about the size of a postage stamp.
