Maybe I was a little strong in my last post, sorry.

The trouble with me, is I'm always the first to buy new things, and always the first to get stung.

I was a little upset to hear of a rev 2 head when my new head is not even half way across the pond.

We all want the newest most up to date things ??

Hmm, so I was right about there being a new version coming out. As people say, the biggest room in the world is room for improvment.

As for the shortages, I think I mentioned before that Kasama's new factory was only recently completed. Their machinery isn't all in place yet, and they've also diverted production from their new heli (yes, a complete new heli) to just the production of these heads. Kasama's mom also recently passed away, and there was a small accident at the factory, which didn't help matters. Also, CNC equipment has been hard to acquire from Japan, since a lot of proof must be sent to ensure that it will not be used to make weapons.

Excellent Customer Service from Johan!!
Johan had to patience to answer all my questions over a course of more than 10 emails. There are others out there who would not even reply to my initial query.

Of course, I bought the Kasama Head + Fan, and expecting them this week.

Keep up the fine service, Johan!

I was surprised to find out they are only working 24 hour days to get the heads out. Is there any chance of bumping that up to 30 hour days and building a Kasama tail case?

J/K of course... Should be getting my new head and fan this week.

Thanks Johan.

Kasama head
Hi all

Did most of you get your kasama head in a week after you placed an order, just looking at time it took. Did it come UPS or USPS.

Thanks
Greg

Revision II Head flew today and WOW.

2 ZeroG`s and 2 Kasama Heads, but left one with R50SE Head to compare.

Yes there is a BIG difference.

The service was impeccable.

Looking forward to seeing the Kasama 50.

Here is a link to the Kasama 50 it would seem

http://203.150.226.28/board/downloa...read=1140405361

This link was given to me by our RR friend firefox. I doubt that this is the finished machine for production, but it looks nice so far.

An abbreviated pic-by-pic translation for those interested:
1. The Kasama "seemohk" heli being shown at R/C Heli 2006, a heli event in Thailand
2. Carbon fiber mainframe, designed for easy maintenance, two-module construction, engine and electronics
3. The eCCPM servos can be detached easily as shown... connection is by torque links
4. Receiver/gyro tray is a floating type to reduce vibration, easily removable
5. Easy to adjust belt tension by adjusting the pulley
6. Extremely simplified tail case (note, the tail hub design has been changed to have thrust bearings)
7. Placement of fuel tank for better CG, and shorter main mast
8. Kasma name plate
9. Can be configured for either 120 degree or 140 degree eCCPM
10. Disassembly for maintenance
11. New lightweight aluminum clutch (18g vs 58g)

It's still a work in progress. You can add your comments/suggestions in the Thai forum.

FYI, I'm not affiliated/associated with Kasama. I'm just another flyer.

My personal favourite pic is the first one with the guy looking at the models with a look of disgust. Maybe he's the competition ? Just look at his face

How can you ever prove that? I guess you mean that they require a lot of BS paperwork/bureaucracy?

hey
i know you guys talk alot about the heads and stuff but i have a question...

which would you recommend...the head with grips or no grips?
(i've only heard negatives about metal grips)

and also i see a couple of people bought the fan....is this better or something??? besides being all metal

and i heard one time that they were including the fan in the head deal...is that no longer...you have to buy it seperate?

looking forward to purchasing

Thanks
~Will~
