Blue thunder in Serie
Hi all,

We are currently looking into the possibility to create a Blue thunder scale model for a 60'er or 90'er engine. A rotodiameter of 1.80 / 2.00 mtr .

We have done a prototype (see www.rchelicopters.eu ). That one is equipped with a nova rossi and a diameter of 1.60mtr.

The new scale model will be with a real fenestron.

Anybody interested or suggestions ?

I have been selling the 60 size Blue Thunder for a while now. There are movies on runryder with one of my fuselages flying around. Member name andre. His is the best yet with a 3 bladed OF head.
Have a look in my gallery.

I'm interested as well!
I had some difficulty navigating the site (after making the mistake of downloading Internet Explorer 7.0), but they looked beautiful! Will your model fit over a raptor 60/90 or similar sized airframe?

The Blue Thunders I have been selling are a 1/6 size. They suit the 60-90 models. They wouldn't fit a gasser in. It would be great if chinook went into production with a 1/5 size. That way you would fit a gasser or tubine in it.
There are two guys who purchased fuselage from me a about a year and a half ago to be electrified, But I don't know how they are going. That would be sweet to hear and see them go. They will be big indoor models Ha Ha.

Thanks,

We are still working on more details and accesoires that will become available.

Right now we are looking for a good mechanic that will fit, well almost anything will fit into it ;-), and we can use for a real silent engine (i.e. electric)

Bergen has a new .90 electric coming in a few weeks and it would lift it fine . They also have an electric observer that can lift 25 plus lbs with the collective arm facing the back which might help with the cockpit area .... I plan on putting mine into a Hirbo super cobra ,, but a blue thunder would be cool also ..

How much is the kit going to be ??
