SAB Composit Flybar Paddles
I recently purchase a set of SAB Composit Flybar Paddles for my Fury 50 to replace the stock white paddles. The stock paddles screw onto the 4mm flybar, where as the SAB paddles slide onto the flybar and get held in place with a small grub screw. I have visons of the paddles flying off during flight? Is there a better way to attach or is the grub screw the preferred method of attachement?

Push them on the flybar until they stop and then start screwing them on until they bottom out, then back them off however much it takes for them to be level or tighten them up a tad if you can go a little bit and align them without really tightening down on them. They thread onto the flybar and the grub screw is to keep them from rotating.

Flybar paddles
Thanks for the quick response. I realize that the stock paddles thread onto the flybar. It seems tho that the SAB paddles merely slide onto the flybar and are held in place via the grub screws!!. They do not thread onto the threaded portion of the flybar and are merely held in place via the grub screws!? Am I correct in assuming this?

Dagger - NO !!

You have to do what Chris said, the part with the bolt is only there to control the threading of the paddle, not to hold it to the flybar !

the paddle WILL fly off if you dont do this properly.
