Need amp draw data for hyperion 10T
Anyone able to get amp draw data on the hyperion 10T motor using high discharge lipos? Using emoli cells it looks like a 45amp ESC will work. I want to make sure the amp draw data is not much different with lipos. If someone can post the results this weekend it would help lots of us.

Thanks,
Rick

IF you use a governor, or find a happy thr curve that keeps the head speed down to what you need, not 100% WOT, the amp draw will be the same, and yes I think a Jazz 40-6-18 will work. I'm going to be trying one out in the next few weeks. We don't need no stinking flybars!

Just thought a description of the flight would be good. I was doing some basic hovering getting the trim setup and getting amp figures.

the big spike is a full power climb out and if my eyes haven't decieve me I believe I'm running a +/- 11 degree setup. This is at 2450 HS. flat line curve

setup is
hyperion 3025-10
hyperion lite storm 20c 3700 pack 4s
jazz 55-6-18 speedy

stock tails on at the moment and I get a 30 degree yaw to the right under a full power climb - at 30 degrees the system catches up and I can keep going. Am looking for a better solution - will check that I have max throws.

I just love this little heli - it is fantastic. Best sounding heli period

the only thing that comes close is a 3dmp on 10s

Sorry, but I'm fairly new to electrics and confused by what you wrote.
I will want to run the highest head speed the motor can put out. I was imaging a 100-90-80-90-100 sort of curve with cyclic to throttle mixing. Based on the data above, will I be o.k. with a 45amp ESC that can handle 60A surges, running that throttle curve?

That comes out to an average of 27.6A right?

Thanks,
Rick
