EVO 50 dumb question
Assemblying my EVO, should the top larger gear engage in what direction? I'm wondering if I have my oneway bearing in upside down. I turned it from the factory direction due to the pic in the manual. Thanks for any info!!

Looking down from the top, the main gear should free wheel counter clockwise.

Hey David,

While you're working on that area, put a bit of grease (I use white teflon grease) inside the oneway hub. This will allow the oneway bearing to center on the shaft properly and it won't get hung up on the plastic. Don't put grease inside the bearing. Automatic transmission fluid or light oil is best for inside the bearing.

My usual test for the oneway is to move the maingear from left to right (from the side). It should freewheel with this test.

Good luck with your Evo.

Leif
