Gasser Greif
Well I was flying at the field, I bring it in let it cool down, fill my machine up. Start it again and runs for about 1 minute then it will not start. I take the plug out and its wet with fuel. I haven't touched anything on the carb. I am ready to give up.

Been their : One of the great mysteries of a bad plug - gets hot - opens up- dead. Sometimes may restart when absolutley cold - get's hot > dead. Take it out smak it w a hammer !

Ordered mine from Auto Zone $1.77 on a satuday at 8 P.M. had it Sunday after church ! No freight ! charges .

allright lets see how this goes but I'm buttoning up my flame suit right now!

While I was messing with a newly aquired snomobile, a friend that worked the hometown parts counter told me this when I went in after new spark plugs. Believe me I bought alot of spark plugs because as I found out a few years later this particular machine comes jetted from the factory rich as possible to keep people from burning up the suzuki motor. The trade off was banging your head against the wall puting in new spark plugs if you didn't ride wide open all the time and at sea level.
His claim was that as many as 50% of the champion plugs they sold where junk..not go bad after a run or two...just junk. So to avoid the battering of all the locals they quit carrying them and only sold ngk, bosch, etc. I don't think they ever sold a spark plug for a r/c heli but probly everything else under the sun. So if people ask me I tell them just buy NGK.

These are NGK Iridium CH7's and they were running great. I am able to get it to turn over for about 10 seconds (smokes allot) after about 20 pulls but I am beginning to feel it could be a fuel mixture issue. This was my break in gallon and I was running 25:1. It was the last tank of fuel in the gas can. The machine was running great. Tan / dark brown plug. Well I am going to mix up some 50:1 and give that a try, reset my needles to 1 3/8 and see what happens.

This gasser thing has been a real test of my patience and my wallet, my 30 size raptor is far more dependable and it spends more time in the air than on the ground. I am not a mechanical neophyte and I have tried to be diligent as I can with this machine and I swear I am ready to punt the gasser into the next state/province. I am beginning to feel either something is broken on a gasser or getting ready to break the next time you go to the field. I must come up with a gasser serenity prayer.

Oh Lord give me the strength....
