A Carvec system is an onboard heli stabilization system.

It's very high-end ($$$$) but everyone raves about how good it is.

at this time the carvec is the only proven autopilot system to truly hover your machine in my opinion. They are expensive but the bigger problem is availability.

danno. I thought about the 12z. I decided to hold off for now not being able to justify it. This could be wrong or just bad publicity. I have heard that the the resolutiuon 2048 compared to 1024 of that system cant take as much interference before a lockout or failsafe. This is because twice as much data is being given in the same amount of time. I did read that you can use it with 1024 recievers and ppm units. But then I think your limited to 9 channels. Let me know what you find because I would like that to be my next radio.

If you need free mixers, Graupner mx-22 is another choice... 10 channels pcm 12 ppm. I bought mine for 580 €. - It seems a lot cheaper...

Some people say it's difficult to program, but i have little or no experience and did it by reading the manual...

I've got a 14mz, and been using it for ap ( and all my models) for a while now. No problem as at, if you're thorough in your installations. I don't let the aerial touch any carbon ( i mean any, it goes through some glow tubing, and then plastic tubing), and I check, and recheck, and do plenty of range checks. works excellent for me.Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.
