powerpole connectors? you should switch to deans. powerpoles dissconnect way to easily and deans have a higher amp rating I beleive.

I use powerpoles with no problem, and have for quite some time. What the *heck* are you doing that makes yours disconnect? It takes a good kilo of pressure to seperate them. Unless your battery is sliding around loose in your heli, you shouldn't have ANY problems.

Works fine in my rex, and in all the rex's I've helped put them on (I've got nice crimpers). Some of which do EXTREME 3d, and I've never ONCE seen a disconnect.

PS - Great looking bird! I want one. :/

Im in love now...
Did you fly it yet?

I did my first loop, and flips with mine yesterday. WOW!!! Climbouts are INSANE!!!! Im on 3s and a 8 turn Hyperion. Viper carbon tail blades.

Cant wait to go rip it up some more today. Still being gentle with her.

Autos GREAT!!!! I had an uncalled for auto yesterday and it came down smooth and slow. My motor nuts came loose in flight.

Jeff

Boy do I like EP powered machines. Easy to leave the house with, radio, heli and batteries-charger and not all the other crap, I might be able to sneek it with me on vacation too!!!!

well i haveflown it and am very happy with how it flies however i am having a problem with my esc as it over heats after 2.5 mins. i have only had a couple of small flights with it and am very impressed so far but now waiting on the distributer to sort this out as i got there flight pack as they recomended it. it does seem to hav loads of power so hope they fix it soon. also because of this problem i have damaged a tail fin and blades but i have them already and are ready to fit once its all sorted. All in all very happy with everyhing else just not the esc

Looks Great (puts mine to shame). I'm still unfinished over to dithering about the ESC. Used a Kontronic 80-6-18 in the end for the 4Amp BEC. Now I need to find somewhere to put it. Opposite the Rudder servo looks favourite at the 'mo.

I'm going to use Powerpoles as they are MUCH easier to fit (crimped) and the specs show them to be pretty much similar to Deans electrically.

I'll report back if I have any connector problems

ok i have finally go it flying properly. I had a faulty esc which has been replaced. So my set up now is
JR R700 RX
Flight power 4s1p 3700maH Batttery
Axi 2826/10 motor
Jeti spin 55 esc with jeti box
3x Futaba S3150 servos
1x Futaba S9650 tail servo
CSM SL420e gyro
ferite ring on esc lead and bananna plugs on all leads
. So far no interferance and a flight time of 10mins plus. Willhave to check the head speed and get it dialed in. But it can handle the wind really well. Was flying it this morning before work and it handledwind which would have been moving my raptor 30 about!

will post pics of it flying asap
