Swift powerplant advice
So I have a Swift with a Tango 45-10 and CC80
I will not use this for anything but Aerial Photography, looking for long run times.
This motor seems to give 6.5-7 minutes and the batteries get to 135-140. This is with all pinions from 9-11 with varying headspeeds. Stock Blades, no camera equipment at all. Im afraid with a camera mount it will be even worse.

Will this motor ever be good for AP or should I get a different one?
I have a TP 6S 4000 and a Tanic 6S 3650 15-20C. I am looking to get sport performance (not 3D) and 10 minutes runtime. Is this doable?

Thanks

If you want a great setup for AP with the swift, go with what i use.

i bought 6 3s 3700 hyperion 20c lipos and wired them in a 6s2p config for a 6s 7400.

Using a NEU 1907 1.5y motor on a 9t pinion.

550mm carbon blades

I havent actually flown a full pack to see where it goes but it seems like my last flight of 11 mins only used about 5000 mah, which means i would get at least 13 mins with plenty of saftey margin.

i can also gain another min by using 530mm carbons over the 550s as the amp draw is a bit lower.

i just got an inflight watt meter so i can actually give real time data for what this setup can do

ill post it after this weekend flying

ya i dont think youll get your desired flight times without going to higher mah.

i used to have a set of 6s 8000's that i wish i hadnt sold! i bet i could get close to 14 mins with those!!

I like the 1907 on 6s and 9t with 550's for camera work

then in 5 mins i can swap it out for 7s emolis and 530s for 3d flying.

it works great and i only need to have 1 heli instead of the 2 for each purpose
