Plastic Knight?
I read on another forum that there is a plastic Knight in the same price range as a Raptor 30. Anyone have any info on this? Is it available in the states?

If you're talking about the Knight 50...MTA in the US sells the Knights.
They come in many different configs...with varying degrees of metal/plastic parts. Suppose to be a decent heli...

Hi

Don't know about the release in the US but I am just finishing giving it a good thrashing (product testing!) before we make it available in the UK.
Looking very good so far, more later.

With luck I will have it at the Masters.

Cheers
Bob

available
Plastic Knight are already available in Hong Kong, Asia. you can already place you order to MTA in USA, Top Model in france. Skyline still testing it, if Bob is happy about it, UK should get them very soon too.
it is not totally plastic, the swash plate and centre hub are still metal, we don't trust plastic on those places.
Prices, pleae check with your local distributor or dealers. It should be surprisely low...

i will update our website in a few days, hopefully more info will be available from there before 3D master.

BOB,,,will you be bringing it to the Max Models show at Wroughton,i hear you are flying there...

I am not sure if we can fit it in the van, currently it only has some cheap radio in it but if I get a chance I plan to put some decent radio in it for the Masters.
I might fly the metal Knight in one of the slots, sharing slots with some guy flying a Synergy called Duncan I think, who ever he is

Cheers

Yeh, some young upstart who thinks he can fly better than the rest of us!

I know who I'll be backing at 3DM this year and what the "D" in 3DM stands for!!!

Anyone have a source for the new plastic kit? Looks like MTA is the only U.S. dealer and they don't have them listed.

Wow. I just got an email from MTA and they will have the plastic kit in about 2 weeks. The real shocker was the price. It was much less than a Raptor 30.

The fact that the metal one is only £300 the plastic one has to be much cheaper or people wont buy it over the superior metal version...Thunder Tigers high end Raptors are much dearer than the plastic ones,in fact they are verging on being overpriced..
