Hole in the servo case!
I got a new hitec 56 servo for the tail a while back. thought I would put it on last night .......I cut the mounts off the sides and the bottom.......but In doing so I tore a little hole in the housing at the top I can see the gear through it .......... It seems to function as it should. Other than a little dab of epoxy over the hole to keep the dust out any reason not to use it ?

I sure wouldn't go poking epoxy into a hole in the servo gear case. That could spell trouble. Just tape it over or else go buy a new case for $6.95 and replace the upper half. Odds are, you will need to use the lower half of the replacement case later, after a crash breaks the tabs off of the original.
