Need advise on 30 to 50 conversion
Yeh, some guy donated his worn, but well used 30v2 to me cause he's moved onto some other hobbies. Since I've already got a 50 Titan, I'm just going to do the 50 conversion instead of putting the $ into a new kit.
Thru Heli...z this is what I found:

1. I'm debating on the pipe as far as quietness and all out brute power, so which choice?

2. Does this package sound complete for the conversion or do I need something else to get this up in the air?

The engine is 185 through HP or Ricks

The MP2 is louder and runs best at 2000rpm head speed so if you arent going to run a metal head block I'd go with a Hatori.

Not sure if my experience is the norm, but the SAB 5 was not great on mine, have better luck with the stock TT muffler or the JK special.

I've got 2 x hypers with MP2's and no problems at all, sweet spot is arount 2kRe-entering the atmosphere...

Yes, the guy at Heli...z did say that the TT pipe was a good option for a low price, but I didn't know if anyone out there had good experience with that pipe.
How good are the blades out of the conversions' box?

It is running but is kind of on its last leg. Instead of getting a replacement engine or rebuild I thought, what the heck a few more $ and it can be a basher heli for my other 50. Otherwise, I think I would have done just that.I Fly So Good: BECAUSE I'M SPONSORED! ...what's this bill here?

If I were to get one super duper fast/strong servo (airtronics ..758?) where should I use it on this 50?
Also, would that be the choice servo (this is with the extra $ from not buying the kit)

Conversion kit comes with wood blades, motor mount, pinion gear, main gear, boom, belt... now that the titan is out, there is a question of what boom length comes with the conversion kit.

I was told it is the standard 50 boom whatever length that is. It's definitely not the titan size though.I Fly So Good: BECAUSE I'M SPONSORED! ...what's this bill here?
