Problem with phasing on Freya?
I am trying to setup up my Freya twister, and i have a problem.

When i try and set the phasing as the manual says, i get a binding at the seesaw from the link that goes from the swashplate to the mixingarm.

I must use some phasing to get rid of that binding.

Need some help here

Your Twister will probably roll out in the loops and act strange during rolls if you adjust the phasing after the binding.

Hi Wiseguy

Have you sorted your problem out ?

I have found that the linke from the see-saw up to the head need to be a little shorter to avoid binding.

Hope this helps

I have not fixed the problem with the binding. It only binds little when i have full pitch and move the swash, and i thought that its not often you have full pitch and move the swash at the same time.

So i just let it be, the thing is that i cant get rid of it! well the only thing I can do is like you said to shorten the arm a little to the mixing arm to the head. or set a little phasing. I cant see any other possibility? I cant see anything in the manual on how the mixing arm should be on the head, i just guessed that it should be straight at a 90 degree angle to the main mast?

but i will fly and look for dmg or wears on the links. So far i havent seen any marks on the link to the mixing arm, so i think it will work ok.

But maybe i should shorten the links a little so the mixing arm point a little downwards at 0 pitch, to be on the safe side to avoid binding?
