What's your headspeed
I have a extreme 8.18 with os91 C-spec/ MP-II running 1850 headspeed, +10/-10 pitch and 690 V-blades. It's fast but it seems it could be better. I know the 1850 put the OS at it's supposed happy spot but has anyone run higher headspeeds with better success?

I'm running the sz hyper with SB-18 on my stratus with 8.18 ratio on 1890-1900 with 710 V's and +-11.5,the results are great, its V-E-R-Y hard to bog this engine even for me (I can do big bens all day long and it won't bother the engine at all).

I just bump my RPM to 1850 since I only had 2 gallons of fuel in my SZ-H (8.18 GR/SB 18) but after a couple of flights yesterday the engine seems to be more than capable of running higher RPM. I might try bumping the RPM to 1870 and then eventually to 1890 and see how it goes. Pinoy.

I have the same setup as you and I'm running only 1750 on the head. That was recommended to me. My blades are 710s.

Cool I upped the pitch to +11/-11 and went up to 1890 head speed and it's just like I always wanted. Funny thing is I am still 1 and 1/2 turn out on the main and pulling strong
