Man, talk about a convoluted thread. The initial complaint sounded like the con rod was whacking the crankcase somewhere inside the motor.

As the thread progressed, it appears that the problem was somewhere in the clutch stack-up, and that the bell was not properly aligned with the shoes and had nothing to do with the innards of the motor.

And a lot of talk about drilling and grinding on the motor mount.

The worst part of this thread is that the fix was apparently found, but not clearly stated as to what the actual problem was, and how it was corrected.

And thanks to those who answered the question about using the black steel washer that comes with the 50 (or to more clear, NOT using that washer). A useful piece of information should I ever pick up a Raptor.

Yeah well, if ChickenX10 would waste time explaining the problem so it wouldn't happen to others in the future he wouldn't be able to progress as fast as he is doing

Waiting for a low inverted hover video now.

My aplogies for not giving the responce here.

The simple solution was to put the assy together properly without the washer, all other mentioned issues/problems were as a result of the fan being incorrectly fitted.

Unless I'm missing the point I think it was noted to throw the darn washer away, the one that came with the motor I was thinking like Dave, I thought it was going to be open heart surgery then it came down to pulling a tooth Jimmi
