Different tail blades
I bought a set of MS tail blades from an ebay vendor. They are the same length as the stock mikado blades, but slightly thinner in chord. The two issues with them are the bushings were 2.5mm and they are 1mm too narrow to fit snugly in the grips. I easily drilled out the bushings to fit the 3mm bolt. I can put washers on each side to space them out in the grips. Is that ok? Was I wrong to drill them out?

As long as you drilled them straight should be fine. You can use a washer on one side of the tr blade to fit the blade grip no worry. As always make sure to quickly check cg of both tr blades and make sure they are balanced before putting them on. Cheers ...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
