Possible to have tail servo under canopy with titan boom?
As the title says.

Is it possible?, I would like to run the Titan boom but like many others I don't like having my tail servo exposed to fuel. What's the solution?.

Cheers.

Nigel.

Why not ??
I don't own a Titan but I would think that the only thing you would need is a longer control rod to make up the difference in boom length....

Tt's would only be possible if you don't use the push pull for the collective. Because the push pull plate is where the tail servo would normally go. Ace also sells a Titan conversion kit from your standard 50 v2 to a Titan part number is TTR3839.

guy in our club just got one and there was the normal pushrod in the kit, so i assume you have the option of it in the titan spares as he definetely had the wire for the front in the kit.

cheers

Get titan boom and belt and then order a R90 tail pushrod set. Cut to size.

It's not necessary to spend money or find a complicated solution. Both sets of control rods, including the coupling are in the Titan kit. They include the parts for either installation.

The Tiran kit comes with both options meaning it comes with the rod that is threaded on both ends for the rear tail servo mount and it also comes with the rods for a front mounted servo, but that part number fot the front mounted servo is ttrpv0507
