Eco8 Aluminum autorotation hub
I've think I lost something on my AR hub. The pin that holds the main shaft to the hub is missing, but I don't remember how that pin fit into the hub. I know it fits thru the hole in the shaft, and on the stock hub, there is a slot for the pin, but not on the aluminum hub. Does anyone have a pic of an aluminum hub and the pin?
Thanks

There is a little piece of plastic (circular, with slot) that goes on the bottom of the mainshaft that has the "slot" for the pin. The auto gear assembly does not actually attach to the mainshaft. It is held on there by the pin under the little piece of plastic. This allows the gear to spin the mainshaft one way, yet freewheel when no power is applied. I don't have a pic, but this LINK has what is included in the package. The little black piece on the right is the piece I am talking about. Hope this helps. Bill

Yes, I remember that piece now. The problem is where did it go!
I'm not sure if I lost it in flight or what. I'll have to get on my hands and knees to see if I can find it. Thanks for the info Bill.

I couldn't find that plastic piece, so I made one from a small brass nut. So far it has held.
