Anyone setup a G5000T and 9ZWC2???
Looking for "A complete idiots guide to setting up a G5000T gyro and a 9Z".
I power up and the tail servo seems to initialize complete one direction, and I can only command to move opposite. Does not seem to come up centered.
Gyro and servo 8700G) worked fine on a JR TX/RX when I grabbed it from a buddy.

Or with any Futaba TX.
I am running PCM, so that is not an issue

servo
If I am correct the 8700G does not work with Futaba because of the different pluse rate THAT servo has--I may be wrong thou?????

I got it working.
The 8700 wants PCM, but is not JR specific.
The issue is you must use sub trim to get the gyro/servo to not slew to one side when sitting. Most other gyros sense whatever is there for signal on power up and call that center. The G5000T wants a specific servo output angle. 16 points of subtrim makes it perfect with my TX and RX.
Once I actually read the whole book with the gyro it sort of made sense :-)
