CG issue on a new EVO 90...
Well just got my evo all setup tonight and it came out nose heavy... Now I know I'm running a heavy battery (sub c) 3600 Nimh. But I don't think it's extreme by any means.. With out the canopy I'm a tad nose heavy. Was this an issue for anyone else? I though about rebuilding the batt. pack into a block and moving it back, please take a look at the pics and see if you see anything else i can do to help the issue.

Have you checked the CG with the fueltank half full?
Do you have both the horizontal and vertical fin put on?

Try a smaller battery pack.

I'm using a pack based on the Sanyo 1950FAUP cell.

If you're set on that sub-C gargantuan... try moving your gyro sensor to the back. And if you sling the pack beneath the tray you'll be able to move it aft a little bit.

I think you need to use that nice looking stock plastic horizontal fin to balance things out.

Or..you might be able to mount your battery under your radio tray and move it back some. Your gyro sensor can be mounted aft. You can move your tail servo out on the boom a little. Are you filling your tank 1/2 to 2/3 full of fuel. You can mount a header tank behind the mainshaft. There's more options when you are nose heavy than tail. Oh, then there's that nice stock horizontal fin.

You were given bad info. Long boom supports is another option.
