Benzin Acrobatic Setup
Guys

I've just finished my Acrobatic build and was setting up the pitch curves. At center stick, the manual shows that I should have 0deg pitch and the swash plate should be 13mm up the main shaft. The 13 mm is correct, however I had +degrees of pitch at center stick. To get the 0deg, I had to reduce the length of the 2 links that go from the swash to the main blade grips by 5mm from 90mm to 85mm. Has anyone else seen this ? Have I configured something wrong elsewhere ? Seems strange that the manual would state 90mm.

thanks

I may be wrong but unless you're going to be 3Ding this ship I would run my pitch as follows.

-4,0,+5,+7,+10. You want the swash plate set at the right amount of space from the dome plate as specified in the instructions, this way you have your servo arms, swash, paddles, flybar control arms, ect all running perpendicular. (level at 90 deg. angles)

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input, I am trying to get a +-10degree setup so I can practice some mild 3d flying. Perhaps the manual assumed the pitch curve that you suggested above.

mark.
