Here it is =)
Just as Skew shows it. Works fine. This one made without shrink tubing to show the two wires connecting to one pin. Use shrink tubing! The twisted wires are not used. black wire of the 4 wire plug goes to the black wire of the align pack.

can I pot the soldered side of the SIP pins with hot melt glue? Someone told me once that is a viable potting material.

Or better yet, can I get somewhere a matching plug that will mate into the TP pack's balancer socket. with a pigtail already installed?

don't know about the connector, but if you pot the pins in hot glue you should be ok. Just inspect your cable before you go to use it.

OK, now I have a problem

I ordered the plugs, the battery connectors, and two of each plug 4 pin and 6 pin thinking I want to make two of these harnesses.

If I put my TP210 V in the same position as shown in the above post, with the lights on the left side. I have a 6 pin plug on the right bottom, and next to it is a 3 pin plug, not a 4 pin plug. These two sockets are labeled "bank 1".

What, did TP change their design of the balancer or what?

On the other end of the balancer are two 6 pin sockets, labeled "bank 2"

So what should I do? Has this already been addressed?

Thanks

I am now convinded I got a defective balancer. They say to plug a 2 or 3 cell battery into Bank 1 group A, and there is a 3 pin connector there and a 3 cell pack requires a 4 pin connector. So call TP I shall.keepin' it real

STET,,,The 3 pin connector is for the data cable the 1010 charger uses.
The middle plug is for 2-3 cell packs

mine was defective, they are replacing with a new one. When I called TP, they already knew what I was talking about.

I've had a few TP items go bad, so far they are 100% as far as taking care of my issues.

I got the connectors made up, just waiting for the new balancer now.

I know this is a hobby and a lot of people enjoy fabricating work arounds for different brands of equipment but I can't believe it took 30 posts to get to the easy solution.

$3.99 from grandrc No boom. No fire department. No $200 failed lipo experiment. No $286 TP charger lessons.

SLOW
Of course this thread started before all of you guys went out and bought the 600. I also have one that I made from this post's schematic back in July and it works perfect. I dont use it now there are much better batterys out. It was an easy solution to the problem before anyone else stepped up to the plate and provided a harness pre-made.

Cheers
