Anyone tried the platinum version yet?? Looks pretty cool, made of industrial grade fibre glass material.

http://vgpower.xxking.com

Seems to have the same weight as the RF version but far cheaper, what about the performance?

I've went through every threads about these helis.
I don't know a single person that hate the heli, the people at thunder tiger also showed lots of interest at this new heli.

Even people who dislike Gazaur as a company have nothing bad to say about the helis.

My conclusion is, running a business is way harder than designing a helicopter.

yes, the Xl uses 340mm stock, im sure that 350's would be no problem at all!! im thinking on maybe trying Century Rotortech 350's, i had the 320's on my mars, and they rocked!! The 3d snappy-ness was awesome!!Lets Fly!

Head setup on Mars 480
Maybe eeeeky can help me. I have amost finished assembling my Mars, but find that the given measurements for the A B and C links don't give the correct setup on the head once everything is installed. I have read all the forums and the 23page build thread done on the Mars, and even those measurements dont work. The flybar does not end up in the middle of the rotor head, the mixing arms almost point upward and this is with the servo arms horizontal. Also what shim do I use in the tail blade holders to stop them from binding.

Hi Lloyd

I bought a Poseidon and am extremely happy with it, one of my mates flew it and has recently bought a Mars and is going to sell his T-rex as the Mars is more stable and flies better. There are upgrades for the T-rex, but rather get rid of it and buy a Mars.

KYNSNA, are you planning on flying 3d with it?? If so, the manual states to use the top hole on the bottom end of the main shaft(the two that are closer together, bottom one for new pilot, and top one for 3d) i found that using the top hole (for 3d) would NOT give me the correct pitch/cyclic range. For all applications (3d or smooth) you need to use the very bottom hole in the main shaft...this gave me the correct settings. i hope this helps you.....Lets Fly!
