John,

Personally, I think anytime in the spring or summer would be cool.
Just don't schedule it near one of the other Events. For example, the Georgetown FF wasn't planned with the Austin FF in mind, it caused issues, and was eventually cancelled. So check with other clubs even if they don't post on the RR event page. I'm thinking at least 2-3 weeks between events would be good....but I'm guessing, they could be closer or farther to eachother, to some people it wont matter. Also, If your wanting to hold Night flying, find out what the moon will be doing around that time as well. I don't night fly, but I've heard the moon plays a factor in night flying.

If your wanting CY to attend then I would imagine finding out his schedule availability would be key to planning the rest. IMO

Anyway, Another HCAM Heli FF sounds like a blast, I'm sure it will be a hit!

John,
I think everyone is interested, who wouldn't be after last weekend. We're waiting for the date to be announced so jab1969 can begin the countdown!

It was a nice day to be flying at the almost empty HCAM field today.

....agree with Javier, need to get in touch with Zach at CYE
Who is taking the ball on contacting Zach at Curtis Youngblood Enterprises? is it Bobby from HCAM? John, pipe in and let us know. Time runs short in Dec and we know that CY sets his schedule in Dec for 07.

Joe,
Well now it has a bendie. Yep, I put her in. Just a dumb thumb, parts will be here today!

Phil007,
Man I didn't realize that was you walking around with a camera that day! Sorry man, guess the ole brain ain't what she used to be.

Kev,
I will contact Zack and Curtis, today if I can get ahold of them.
I'll keep ya posted.

Jeff,
Whoaaa, five tanks!?! Excellent. Did you find a Futaba guy to help get your curves etc setup? You will be in much better shape once someone who knows what their doing sets up that Futaba, I'm sure I screwed it up pretty good. Keep burning that fuel baby!!

Vince,
Thanks, it was a pleasure helping him get his Evo going. Nice heli he's got there too! See you down here at HCAM soon Vincester??

John,
It is always good to help a fellow Hirobo family member out. I know it don't take much to get such a well designed bird in the air.
I will get back down there sooner or later or maybe we will persuade you to come fly with us Northern boys Thanks again.

Oh, what did you do to the Evo?

Vince,
I had tried to memorize the switches on Jeff's radio when I was helping him out, didn't want a mishap and not be able to find throttle hold. Well after he left I flew once and was shocked because I just couldn't seem to cross back over to my radio. Should have gone home then, but noooooo, I took her up again, flamed out and kept hitting the gear switch thinking it was TH. You know what happened next, crunch.

Both frames, servo frame, landing gear, stripped collective servo, boom, the usual. Turns out theres a hole in my piston on my little hyper!! Hello, Nathan...................

OK GUYS......
I wanted to jump in here for a sec to see if anyone wanted to come out to the Liberty Hill feild this coming SUNDAY and have a small fly-in for the local heli community. (or whomever wants to come out for that matter)

I know Sunday isin't the best of times for everyone, but I figure this is plenty of notice. I have alot of things going on Saturday that includes a half day of work and two X-Mas parties, so that would count me out for Sat.

I just want to try and bring everyone together one last time before the year is up and on the same note as it being an AWESOME day to fly.(weather wise)

So, anyone want to take me up? If so, throw in some times to meet up.

Joe
