Scott, Jacki and Zach Glasgow from Oklahoma will be there. This is our first time at this funfly, so we aren't sure about the facilities. We are definitely looking forward to it though!

Does anyone know if there is space at the field to park a 5th wheel? If not, does anyone have info on a place close to the field?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Jacki

Scott,
I dont see any problem of parking your 5th wheel at the field at all. But the best guy that can answer your Question is our main man..Christopher J..The park is huge and its only reserve for flying R/C's..Theres at least about 2-3 acres of open space before you get to the pit area so i dont think its a problem at all. Come on and have fun..

Sorry, But I am pretty sure you CAN'T park one there, I could be wrong, that park has some very strict rules, and the gate is locked at night by the rangers, But maybe there is a way to get special permission?Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

I'm sending Doug Gennes the Parks Rep a email message tonight to find out. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something back. We do have the parks permission to park on the grass so I don't see the 5th wheel trailer being a problem, as for as leaving it overnight that I don't know about. There are hotels near by. If you need a list let me know.

It's looking like there is more interest in this years event then last, which is great. I'll be very happy to see the turnout. With this event obviously growing we will try to have info about hotels and rates worked out for next years event.

The landing fee is $25
Registered pilots get thier first lunch free
Burgers, brauts, chips, and pop will be available
There will be a novice and intermediate timed event available for those interested
There will be help on set up as well as other help and advice for those newer to the hobby.

If any of you that have interest and those that are coming have any questions feel free to email me at raptor2378@sbcglobal.net or call me at 816-686-7509.

One more
I'm planning to come from that little state south of Oklahoma. I'll bring what I have room for in the car. I should have some space left after the wife finishes loading. What time do you start on Sat?

There was in inquery about the field permits for flying fields in Jackson County parks. There is no permit required for this fun fly. The only thing required is your AMA and the desire to have some fun.

I'll see you all there.
