I must not get complacent, I must not get complacent, I must not get complacent...... Well, After 3 years of enjoying these R/C food processors, I finally had an accident. I was setting up a new gyro, and was sitting on my garage floor (painted floor w/TV AKA mans room). I had my rexy, and just was going to stand up and get something when I accidently hit my flight mode switch.... AHHH SHIIIZZZ..... here we go.... A whirling mass of blades and carbon fiber spinning up @ 3000 R's to come right @ my right thigh !! IT cut me Mick ! """ well not to bad, and I was very lucky.. but It hit with the force of a hammer, and made me call to mama !~... It didnt break the skin, but I was afraid to look ! IT left a hell of a welt, and a bloody one @ that. So, chock one up to the Heli !! I have been beating him up so bad he was do for payback. The worst part is I just got it back together, and had only 2 flights on it when I did this.

DAMAGE:

325 pro woodies
elevator cyclic control attachment @ the swash
carbon tail blades
MY PRIDE...
and I seperated a swash, which I needed to do anyways to fix.

Im lucky..

Remember dont think the little guys wont hurt you CUZ they will !@!!

Been there.. done that.. Sure gets the adrenalin going don't it!!

These little buggers are just waiting to bite you...

Another good reason to use an ESC with soft start! At least it can't start at full pelt.

I did a slmilar thing just 2 days ago. While laying the transmitter down I hit the idle-up switch on an extension cord laying there- fortunatly for me it was at - pitch and saved me a bunch of money. I was dumbfounded for a second as I watched the heli spinup and not go anywhere as it plastered itself to the floor :0) Great fun- in afterthought!
