hello all you all might be sick of hearing this but i have a raptor 50 hyper engine 401 gyro standard servo and when i hover my tail drifts a tiny bit and it sometimes kicks slightly every now and again not severe just a few inch

What standard servo, how did you set the gyro up? You need to set it up and trim it in NON heading hold first, then switch it.

Had this exact problem on the weekend with my 401 and Rappy 50 and it was fixed by 3D Pilot Simon Lockington.

What he did was as follows.

1. Move Ball link out to last point on servo arm. around 14mm
2. Set Gyro to Non HH mode and made sure it had same travel on both sides by adjusting ball link length and use the limit setting screw on the gyro to adjust travel to same both ends without binding.
3. Pitch slider should move all way to end of travel on both sides.

After this with a sensistivity of 80% the tail was rock solid. No drift and no wagging.

I think you should just sell your 401 and sell it cheap to tom, and treat yourself to a futaba601
