Hey,

Really depends on what your after, there is quite a selection now catering from aerobatic pod & boom models, to full blown scale machines. With quite a few different manufacturers offering different packages to suit various applications.

The two main aerobatic pod & boom models that spring to mind are the WREN Century Predator & the WREN Bergen Intrepid, both converted 90 size machines using the tried & proven WREN MW54 gas generator & gearbox. Both backed up by knowledgable & experienced sales & support people, with dedicated fliers able to answer any questions you may have.

A quick skim through this forum will reveal many more options to you, again a lot of your decision will hinge on what type of flying you want to do with the model. Scale or sport/3D.

Hey Barry,

Ah, you spotted the new tail gearbox. Nice bit of CNC work in them.

DorsetBoy has been running a couple of these already on his 90 Predators and likes them. They do add a little extra weight to the tail end of the model, but on a turbine Predator it will help balance out the C/G better I think rather than adding extra weight in the form of lead weights.

Should retail for about $119.95 in the US, I don't have prices for the UK to hand.

As yet I haven't yet seen one close up, or been able to swipe one for my model
