Well had the first real flight with my Raptor 30 today and it was a BLAST !

So far i've always had to fight the cold and the none holding tail due to slow speed tail servo (bought the Rappy of ebay not flown before but built up with servos)

Now with the new Fast Futaba Servo the tail holds great and finally wind and temperatures were bearable so i took the R30 out too the field and gave it a good workout

i'm a a-ok T-rex flier and so the Raptor was quite a difference... SO MUCH MORE Visible and the stability is awesome.

Did some loops, rolls, flips (elevator and aileron) flew inverted a bit, looked if the tail would hold flying backwards thru some backward loops aswell and it did i'm quite happy with it

Noticed some bogging especially when doing Cuban 8s which were possible only 1/2... in the second pull up i had to abort because the head speed sounded quite low for me... guess i need to add some cyclic to throttle mixing and the engine needs probably to be leaned out a bit more on the top-end.

One happy new slimer flier !

Cheers
MB
