Hey Guys,

Finally finished it, the Vibe is here! I have made 2 versions of the Vibe, one with Radix Blades and one with V Blades.

Enjoy!

Thanks a bunch. I have been wanting a JR heli for relfex for a while and have closely monitored your progress throughout the weeks. The model flies great and looks better.

Peace through superior firepower

The model looks great, i have only just downloaded it so i havent tried it yet? Are you thinking about making any other models, I know someone who make the Szabo brothers helicopters but they cant give them out for some reason?

Hey Matt,

No plans on making any further models unless they decide to make RMK less tedious although I have been thinking about modelling a friends Turbine... I have put together Alan Szabo's heli myself also - but I saw that it should not be released so kept it to myself...(I think something to do with copyright law...)

I don't know the details, I just understand that John and Vincent didn't want the Alan Szabo Raptor 90 released (judging by another post) so I have kept it to myself.

If you want to make your own it is quite simple:
1) Open the model in RMK
2) Browse to the Tex folder in explorer
3) Open the Texture file for the part you want to modify in a photo editing program
4) Re-design the texture
5) Save the modified texture file
6) In RMK export the model to a .mod file
7) Go fly...

I haven't flown the JR Vibe, but my experience with the JR Vigor is that it is a high quality machine. I have flown the Raptor 90's which I do prefer over any other 90 size heli that I have flown purely because of it's flight characteristics.

I would seriously consider the following:

1) Local popularity
2) Cost of spares
3) Ease of finding spares (local shop stock level)

You may also want to try some of the local flyer's helis too. I always thought the Raptors were a cheap and nasty heli until I flew the Raptor 90 which changed my opinion. In the end it is all down to your preference. Mine just happens to be Raptor because I like the way it flies.

I used the following picture for making my version of Alans Raptor:

Hi Trvo,

Thanks, thanks , thanks for bringing it to us. I've test flown it and it is very very realistic as compared to the real model (I've got two of them). Only few adjustments in tail , but overall is pretty good.

Only two comments if you're interested in feedback:

1) Autos are very long I guess it is related to rotor inertia but not sure

2) I think landing gear is too narrow as compared to the real model which makes it unstable in the ground.

Again, congratulations on your SUPERB job!!

Cheers

Nice work, can you do a Freya Evo now, can't find any decent render. Judgeing by your Vibe, it would become extremely popular in the Hirobo Forum.

Sure Craneyum would like it too

Thanks
