I have been out of the hobby for about 2 years. When I started looking at buying a helicoper again I noticed all the adds for the Tiger. I looked at the kit yesterday at the LHS. I notice that you post up throughout the forum making suggestions here and there. In the addendum and on various threads you post various upgrades and other things. Is there a list of upgrades and parts that are not in the kit that I could order so I would have them all when I built the kit? I noticed that there is the hyper prop adapter, the pins for the tail slider, and the parts for the head. Is there anything else?

I am going to probably be buying the kit today. I won't be buying the motor until next week, will there be any problems building it without the motor and installing the motor near the end?

I don't know if all the upgrades are listed on the website.

So far as I'm aware:
1. 3D heavy duty main grips, 6mm head axle, triple bearings
2. 3D paddles
3. 3D flybar
4. 3D seesaw
5. ProMuffler
6. tail pitch slider pins
7. Epoxy glass canopies

In the works:
1. 3D heavy duty tail grips, triple bearings
2. 3D flybar cage

You can build the heli mechanics in their entirety without electronic or the motor/muffler. Once you get all that, you can easily install it into the finish mechanics.

e-mail or call
When you call audacity models the greeter is John or his wife. He answers e-mail promtly too. John makes the contrast clear between him and everybody else. Plan on the long answer if you have the time. He wants you to get it not just get off the phone. TimT

I'm sitting here right now putting a Tiger together for a friend, it was totally in pieces yesterday afternoon right down to new frames and a bunch of new parts, this puppy went in hard in a crash and I'm getting it together for a Fun Fly next weekend.

I built the entire heli, put the electronics in, tail boom, head and set everything up without putting the engine back in. I just put the Hyper 50 in a few minutes ago, the only thing you have to do is pull the needle and needle spring clip off and the engine goes right in with landing gear attached, so as Dan answered you can get all your electronics in and adjusted then put the engine and muffler in last it won't matter.

If you decide to run an opticle sensor with a govenor or a magnet, it's best to install it on the fan first before mounting it to the engine.

After you get it just reach out there are plenty of Tiger owners and reps hanging out on all the forums and we can easily help you out

Clyde, actually, if I don't have the two front screws for the landing gear attached to the frame, I find I can wiggle the Hyper in/out without removing the needle valve. Of course, it helps to hold your tongue just right!

David, if you'll e-mail me directly I'll be happy to reply with an attachment (the registration sheet in fact) which you'll find useful as it has pictures of what else we offer.

By the way, the reason some of the new stuff isn't on our website is we're working on an update and aren't expending energy keeping the present site up to date because we're pretty close to making the switchover. Meanwhile, if you surf to the site (below) you'll find fairly up-to-date info on what we've been up to. Especially eyeball the top 5 threads (which are marked "sticky" because I started them).
