I have finished building my Trex 450XL and when testing the 430L motor I ran into an issue. While checking the dravie train for level swashplate and that all linkag works freely I ran up the motor with no blades attached, just the flybar. I was in normal mode and at about 1/2 way up on the left stick the main gear seems to wobble a bit and make some noise, then at 2/3 stick the tail rotor gear disengaged from the main gear and it started free spinning. I backed off on the throttle and as it was spooling down to almost a stop the one way bearing seemed to re-engage with the tail rotor gear. It does this every time I go past 1/2 stick. I double checked that the locking collar on the main shaft was tight and there is no end play. I also double checkd the clearance between the motor pinion and the main gear which looks fine. But I'm suspect of this main gear as since the day I installed it there seems to be too much wobble or play in it, maybe a 32nd to 16th of an inch movement. The one way bearing is installed correctly per the instructions and the spacer/collar on the top of the main gear is also installed. So what could be wrong? Has anyone run into this?
