Why do you rate those as better than the CarbonXtreme's? By far, even. I like the CarbonXtreme's though tried to put the infinavations on and couldn't get the grips to spin smoothly when tightened. So, I never did give them a go.

the nice thing about infinovation you get the best of both worlds
a smooth hover feeling and good crisp 3D handling.

Have you tried the CarbonXtreme's? I guess I was wondering if you actually could tell the difference. I find them to be very responsive and I really think they're smooth as well. But then again, I've not tried the infinivation so that's why I ask.

I have tried both and as stated, you get the best of both worlds with the Infinovation Dampers. They also cured a nasty little bobble/shake I got form time to time with the CX Dampers at hover (even at high headspeeds).

I also feel the heli tracks better and flies smoother with the Infinovation Dampers and Tuner Kit installed and the center pivot pin removed from the head, thus allowing full dampening.

I've changed from carbon extreme to infinavations also. I feel that the infinavation tracks better just like someone said.
One bad thing with the carbon extreme dampeners is that they become oval during crashes with a play in the spindle as a result.
I haven't crashed with the infinavations yet so i don't know if the will take it, but i hope they will.

Does all this discussion also map across to the 50 bird?

Because I'm running CX dampeners on my 50 metal head and love it.. but you say the infinivation ones are much better... for the 50 too?

If so, i'd love to give them a go as well, still no complaints with my Cx's

Whats the difference between them? I assume the CX restiffer cos they are solid plastic?

I use CX on my Raptor 50 V2 with a quick uk head and it is mega, i used to get the blades touching the tail baldes but it dont anymore and it just makes the helicopter so much more ridged! But with my Raptor 90se im going to use the invination dampners and yes you can get the for 50's dont know if they are any good in 50's though, anyone know?
