I observed a situation yesterday that proves to me that attitude is everything in our hobby. A gentleman at out field, "kitted" his Raptor when the engine failed yesterday. You needed a dustpan and a broom to pick up the pieces. It even shattered the case of his Hyper!! He didn't even get mad or anything, just picked up the pieces, made a few jokes "I'll have it up in an hour " etc. and was flying his T-Rex around @ 20min later. I'll have to remember this next time I go in, cause after all, we're supposed to be having fun right?

Better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all!!

My club mates say "otherwise, we would be collecting stamps for a hobby".

I have crashed several times and always have a smile on my face. Just yesterday my T-Rex lost a battle with a tree. All I could say was "damn that looked cool". My wife even notices the grin on my face and says "crash again".

You get into this hobby knowing crashes are inevitalbe. IF you accept that from the onset, then the only left to do is to have fun.

only time i get pissed is when a crash is down to something really stupide and not my fault thats the ones that piss me off at least when you dumb stick you know it was you.
