I received a neu motor 1107/2Y and I would like to connect to my CC35 Phoenix ESC.
I have some question before to proceed to solder something.

a) In the three wires is present a dark rubber pipe that is not fixed and it can be removed. Should I leave this there or should I leave out?

b) I normally see in the motors three colour wires… one white or blue and the two other red and dark. With the red and dark is possible to reverse the rotation. How can I map this colour in the wired if this are all white?

c) which are the correct settings for CC35 on 3S?

d) anyone try this motor with 10T pinion? Which Head speed can be reach?

Thanks!

a) Leave the dark rubber part on.

b) Plug them all into the ESC and if it spins backwards switch any 2 wires. Once you get it spinning the right way just us coloured makers to mark the wires for future reference.

c) Dunno, probably mid timing.

d) I tried with an 11T on 3S and could only get a headspeed of about 2750rpm. I run a 13T now.

Thanks Kevin,
what do you mean with “dunno” for point C?

Anyone that can give exactly the setting of Neu1107/2Y and CC35?
Should be the same of Neu 1105?

Sorry, I should have said 'don't know'
I've only used the Align controller with my 1107/2Y.
Start out with it set to standard timing, maybe somebody else will help out with the other settings.

I tried the 1107/2Y on 4 cells with a 10T with heavy mavrikk carbon fiber blades. It would just barely make it to 3000 rpms but it didn't seem to have much reserve torque with that blade combination and pinion; I'm sure lighter blades would have helped. Now I have it on 3 cells with a 13T pinion and it seems happier and stronger.
