Ok I’m getting ready to another 90. I must say the EVO90 is in the top 3 I have had an EVO50 so I’m aware of hirobo quality. But let’s talk crash cost. The thing that’s put it’s on the bottom of the 3 is that $40 main mast which at least every crash I have had main mast is gone. Is this thing that much betters then the rest? What makes it $38-$40??????

it's hardened.

Besides that, it's still retardedly overpriced.

they do make a std. mainshaft for around $13 or so. If you're
not 3D banging the machine into shreds, you could use that.

Carbon Extreme also makes a hardened one for 26

I now its harden but I had an X-Spec and its main shaft was harden also can you use that one?

Different part no.
The EVO90 uses the Eagle WC3 mainshaft and the 'old' hardened Freya/XSpec shaft is replaced with this one, which has the same hole to hole distances (185/195mm) including a third distance.

Thats cool but 26-$29 for a main shaft and 22 for boom makes for high crash cost?

seriously, those prices are NOT out of line for a top performing 90 class machine.

You are rarely going to get away for less than 200-300 in a 90 crash.

True but I went back to 50 because of the pucker factors in crash coast, that held me back from progressing. I did fly MA Stratus and fury. But I also had an X-spec for a while I just wanting to decide on what to buy me for my birth day it’s between the raptor 90se and the Evo 90 I know people who fly and like both. I know I will crash I am just comparing price in common part. Ether Helo I will still be less then my MA crashes.

Blades get you every time. On my ex-Furys I would also have to factor in the paint job and canopies. Switching to the EVO90 allowed me to get a lot better much faster because I was not scared anymore. Also, since it tracks better when going tail-first inverted than the Furys ever did, I have more fun now.
