Finished my SE last week, had three flights today.... waiting for batteries to charge... I agree, mine went together smoothly also. I did have to drill holes in the tabs of my 3xHS-56, on the tail I put an HS-50 with no new holes needed. I cheated and used extra blue anodized spacers under my pitch servo so linkage is aligned better.

MY bird...
SE
Align 430L (No problems at all!!!)
CC 35
JR770s PCM rx
GY401
TP 3s 2100
Kokam/cellpro 3s 2000
I ran a ground wire from tail to inner frame to outer frame to motor case to batt neg. (<.005 ohms resistance)

I actually had one build problem... the main drive gear that came with this set was out of round.... causing the engine to skip and catch with high pith. Replaced gear... no more problems.
