I'm feeling really bump after trying to set this thing up all day today. I followed the instructions but I can't get the RPMs to sit right. It's running as though I don't have TJ in there. Hovering is very "bouncy" as in up and down and very difficult to keep it at a steady level. I had this installed and tuned when I got the heli and it just stop working yesterday. It used to be when I come up about 1/3 throttle the engine will rev up to the set speed and stay. The RPM that I needed to hover when it was functioning is much less than what I need to hover now. It seems as though I have to rev the crap out of the engine to get her hovering. She begins to hover at about 2/3 stick but the RPM is much much higher.
My throttle servo is Futaba S9001. I don't think this is a high speed "Super Servo" as it's mentioned in the instructions [unless someone can confirm this to be one]. If this is not a "Super Svervo" I will have to set this for a regular servo. TJ was set up as a remote function rather than the manual option as well.
Can one of your gents tell me how to set this up in plin English? I haven't a clue as to some of the terminology used in the instructions [ATV, set travel to -/+ 100% etc...]
BTW my heli is a Raptor 30 V2.

9001 is not a super servo its an analouge servo.

Have you checked to see (incase) that the clutch is not slipping ?

Sensor Adjustment
Mani,

You might want to check the sensor and make sure that it is in proper adjustment as it relates to the fan magnet. If the sensor moves in relationship to the magnet the sensor may fail to pick up the pulse generated as it passes the magnet.

Also, check to see that your magnet is there. Sometimes if they are not properly installed they will be thrown out during a flight.

I noticed you don't list the type of helicopters you fly in your profile. You might want to list them as that can help when others offer advice.
