I ordered two sets of these from Ricks, one for my EVO and one for Widowmaker. The purchase order says Dampeners - Sceadu 30/50, but the label on the actual package containing the dampeners says Thunder Tiger Raptor 30-50. Did they goof? Are they mislabeled? Or are they the same (I doubt this one)?

Ricks obviously isn't open until Monday and I want to fly Monday morning, hoping to install these tomorrow night.....

Nevermind. I saw the website in my own photo and it looks like I got the wrong ones. Rick's has always been good to me so I am sure they will make this right.

So this is what they look like for those who didn't know .

Rick's is pretty good. I've switched from Heliproz to Rick's. Yeah...the dampners for the Sceadu does not have grooves...it's somewhat like a step shaft. All three O-rings go on the end. You will like them.

"How high do they go? Are those things hard too fly? How much do they cost?

Hey, what is going on. Rick's did this to me three or four weeks ago. I have posted them back (at my expense) but i haven't heard about a refund (or if they have been received) or seen the Evo examples.

My correspondence with them made me believe they are out of evo dampners. Are they doing this on purpose I will have to email them again, Rick's has usually been good but this order has been nothing short of awful

Maybe they have lost someone that was a key member of their team. They were slow to respond to my emails, and to ship. At least i have the majority of what i paid for...

I called Ricks on Monday and spoke with Nathan. He said the correct ones are on the way along with a couple of other things too. Hopefully I will get them soon as I want to fly them beginning of next week.

So what exactly are these dampeners going to do for me again?

The infinavation dampners will give you a super rigid head great for doing agressive 3d. Keep in mind that the heli will shake if you don't have the head speed fast enough for these dampners because they are so stiff....

We are both running about 1800 - 1850.. will that work or do we need higher?

As far as I know, 1850 will work just fine and 1950 for 3d

The nice part about the infinivation dampeners is no nodding, atleast not on either of my ships with them at the lower head speeds. The o-rings are softer for hovering and around center, thrashing around hits the very hard plastic keeping the blades from chopping off the boom.

My Raptor was nodding at lower head speeds a bit but these dampeners cleared that right up.

Rick's made my situation right. They sent me the correct dampeners and did not charge me for shipping since I paid it the first time. I will definitely be using Rick's again.
