for that gyro, I personally think that's the best servo you can get....the 9254 is .01 sec. faster, but not nearly as reliable as the 9253 is. Tell the guy at the field to put down the crack pipe.

Ignorance is curable, stupidity is for life.

The 9253 is meant to be a tail servo. It's made for that purpose. Maybe he meant your servo seemed to be going bad and was not performing as good or quick as it is supposed to???

I wasnt posting in response to yours sorry .
RobRoy I get yelled at by my wife for saying that, but I really wanted to. She says my kids pick that stuff up, my 10 year old got in trouble at school for saying "quit smoking crack" to another kid.

logan you accidently told me you were running a 9252 on the tail and thats what i was referring as too slow. 9253 and 9454 are almost identical in performace except for .01 in speed.

I have heard of people saying the 9253 sometimes stops working or they wouldn't hold as good after a while of flying. Some people have had problems with them but some have been working fine.Someone who flies at the same field as me had a problem with his. The 9254 I guess is the replacement for the 9253.
