I'm thinking about getting one of the used Logos on RR / RCGroups. A number of them are on C13L / C15L. I was wondering if this is compatible with a 6S setup. I have a Fliton Extra 330 with a 6S setup and was thinking of using the same set of batteries.

What's a good setup on a 6S for the Logo 10?

Thanks
Josh

21 tooth pinion

This is the way you should go. With this Setup everything is possible and you are about 2100 RPM on the head wohoooooooooo ROCKET.

Josh,
I have the same plane and the same setup as you and bought a Logo 10 3D for the same exact reason. Alot of the sames huh

I have yet to fly mine, but Hacker's new A40/50/60's come out at the end of this month and they have a motor optimized just for this setup and it will only be $189.99 street price. It is a A40 Heli motor. There are some other motors, but all are pricier. The Kontronik Tango 45-10 is for 6S. A Plettenberg Orbit 30-10 is as well. The new NEU ORK 1907-1Y will work, but runs hot as they are going back to put fans on them I believe and none can be had right now. I am waiting on the Hacker.

If you buy a used logo with the hacker mentioned go to tppacks.com and get a "box" then you can run 6s and have plenty of GO.

we can never have too many, can we ?

The box is an aluminum gear reduction enclosure. Check it out:

From memory the Box was designed by Dana and Gary to allow the older motors to work with Lipo packs. It is a great way to reuse a 13-15l motor in a logo 10.

The "Box" is a great way to add weight and noise and reduce efficiency.
